Some golf courses start off with an easy hole to help you get loosened up. Not at Temple Terrace. The first hole is a strong par 4 that demands an accurate tee shot. You have to
avoid the trees on either side of the fairway as well as a fairway trap that is precisely where your ball wants to go.
A good drive, ideally a draw to get past the trap, will leave you with a short to medium iron to a well bunkered green.
A par on this hole is a great start.
