This par 4 looks easy, but unless you hit a good drive, you will have a tricky second shot into the green. The fairway is a little downhill from the tee and the tendency
is to try to rip a long drive, which is great if you pull it off; you will have a short short to the green. However, the fairway isn’t as wide as it looks. Drives down the left side of the fairway
leave shots that are partly blocked by the overhanging trees. Drives down the right side force you to hit your approach shot over the trap short and right of the green. The perfect drive is down the left
center of the fairway (isn’t it always?). This opens up the green and makes the approach shot much easier. The green is slanted from back to front, which makes the approach shots a little easier,
but if you end up above the hole you could have a tricky putt.
