Probably the most treacherous hole on the course, the par 4 dogleg left is like many great holes - a pretty easy bogey for everyone, but a tough par or birdie. It starts with the
drive. To have a reasonable shot at the green you have to challenge the dogleg, which brings the trees and out-of-bounds left into play. Hit through the dogleg and you are stuck behind trees. If you hit the fairway,
you still have a medium to long iron, into a large green which is protected by two large traps. The green is slanted back to front with a severe ledge halfway into the green. End up on the wrong side of the
ledge and you have a difficult two-putt.
