The seventh is a shortish par 5. This 5 dogleg right can be reached with two good shots, but you have to challenge the fairway trap and trees at the dogleg, and then hit your second
shot to a large green protected by water on one side and traps and out-of-bounds on the other. A more conservative play is to hit your drive to the left side of the fairway, avoiding the trap, then hit a medium iron
to your favorite layup distance, then hit a wedge to the green. Go for it, or play safe? This hole, more than any other on the front nine, will get your pulse racing.
